I am a heavy volume runner. Always self taught and never had any coaching. Something about my running technique felt off and I felt I needed to get coaching before sustaining an injury. Spencer taught me the pose running method. It was night and day compared to my current technique. I felt like I was running lighter and faster. I plan to continue working with Spencer to further develop this running style. He was nice and professional.

Spencer is such a pro! Enlightened me on the causes of my running problems and limitations, and started me on a path to joyful running. By the end of the session (implementing subtle and not so subtle changes to my running form), running stared to feel a little like flying. And fun again.

Great clinic, straight forward instructions, shows examples and practicing drills!
Coming from a military’s Navy background I was skeptical at first from what I was taught that no pain is no gain! I learned a lot to get started to become a better more efficient faster runner and hopefully less prone to injuries. I was running with a glute and hamstring injury for the past 2 months and glad I took his course.
I look forward to joining his running club and practicing more of what I learned.

I used to run a lot and loved it, but I hurt my hip and stopped a few years back. When I heard about Spencer and the Pose method, I decided to give it a try and I’m really glad I did. I learned so much about how I had been running wrong and that is why I got hurt. Now I can run without hurting. Yay!

Spencer truly helped me get over the “punishment of running” story in my head. He guided me with joy, freedom and fun into rewiring that belief and rewriting what I want running to be for me now. I learned so much about running and noticed an immediate improvement in my posture after just the first session. Spencer is positive and patient! I just started running casually for about 2 years and few races so I went in hoping to have proper running coaching and feedback and got way more!

Spencer instruction was very informative. Changed how I feel about running. We spent about 3 hours practicing. At the end reviewing the before and after videos had measurable difference.

I went from 9 frame out of 10 on ground contact to 5 frame on ground contact. My leg was landing at exactly 180 degree before and the after was significantly improved.

Really looking forward to keep working with Spencer on his group training as well.

I was pretty new to running when I did a class with Spencer, maybe 9 months of dedicated running. My cadence, my form, my leg strength in terms of running with good form was all awful. I knew something was wrong just not what. After one class with him I dedicated my self to fix my form. Spencer is a wizzard. My cadence sky rocketed, my foot strike got better, my mobility got better and my injuries stopped. Thanks Spencer!

About 15 years ago an orthopedic surgeon told me that I should stop running because my kneecaps aren’t aligned. Then I met Spencer, who introduced me to the Pose method of running. I began learning the technique and have been able to run ever since. I won’t say I run completely pain free, because I don’t think that’s possible, but it’s been so much easier to manage thanks to Spencer.

I learned the fundamentals of the POSE running method from Spencer during a 3 hr clinic. He was patient and thorough while walking us through progressive exercises. I found the one-on-one feedback very helpful. Spencer’s class helped improve my running form and reduce calf pain from improper stretching.
